JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: PROJECT COORDINATOR
Position: Full time, permanent
Reports to: CEO
Salary Range:
Responsibilities and Duties
Liaise with the CEO for the implementation of project activities.
Liaise with the CEO and Clinical Psychologist on aspects concerning the
admission and discharge of clients.
Prepare project proposals for funding consideration.
Oversee all project activities and be the contact point for the donor and the House.
Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor
organization.
Oversee the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project
planning, action plans and monitoring processes.
Submit activity reports, and financial reports, on a regular basis, to the CEO and
donor parties.
Oversee the preparation and submission of annual activity-based projects, as well
as monthly and quarterly financial reports, and send new requests to the CEO.
Prepare monthly fund requests and monitor the budget vs. actual expenditures.
Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to
guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of objectives, as
specified in grant agreements.
Employ resourcefulness in project design, implementation and monitoring.
Trouble shoot project problems. Identify and implement creative solutions.
Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Officially inform the staff about overall objectives and activities of the project as per
the approved proposal.

Identify other stakeholders and develop a network with others in the field.
Build and maintain effective relationships with your RH team, colleagues, clients
and external partners and supporters and donors
Oversee the work of the support staff: House Manager/s, Cook/s, Farm and
Garden Manager, Driver/s.
Serve on the RH Board, in accordance with the RH Constitution and agreed
standards of reporting.
Requirements:
5 CXC subjects or equivalent.
A Bachelor’s degree and/or tertiary level certification in Project Management will be
an asset.
Sobriety of at least three (3) years.
Training and/or experience in working with disadvantaged communities will be an
asset.
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Ability to develop and encourage new and innovative solutions.
Resourcefulness in the application of project design, implementation and
monitoring techniques/standards.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and deliver projects in a timely manner.
Encourages openness and transparency; and demonstrates high levels of honesty
and integrity.

Extra Heavy-T Drivers permit
Over eight years experience.
House Manager:
Job Description:
Position: Full-time, permanent
Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
Primary responsibility of the position holder is to maintain an environment that is
structured, safe, comfortable, and secure for the male clients.
Duties
Maintain the safety of the centre and residents
Communicate with CEO, Project Co-ordinator and Clinical Psychologist, as may
be required.
Support clients in working toward their goals.
Engage and facilitate daily programmes and ensure that all residents attend their
sessions as scheduled.
Ensure that clients follow all rules
Assign clients to chores and monitor to ensure that they are satisfactorily
completed.
Maintain inventory records and ensure that food items are stored appropriately,
and the storage areas are in accordance with Health and Safety standards
Notify the Project Coordinator of items needed for the centre, in a timely manner.
Maintain a daily written record of residents who are admitted, discharged or
leaves the premises, for whatever reason.
Record and report to the Project Coordinator, (or CEO, as necessary) all
incidences in that are not in accordance with the House rules
Supply Gate security daily of the names and vehicle numbers of all visitors

Ensure maintenance of the assigned property by reporting promptly to the
Coordinator and CEO the need for repairs and maintenance works.
Qualifications:
5 CXC subjects or equivalent
Skills in conflict resolution and/or mediation will be an asset
Prior experience working with people with Substance use Disorders and other
addictions.
A working knowledge of mental illness and homelessness.
Experience working with people from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds
Excellent verbal and written communication in addition to organization skills.
Must be at least 3 years drug free and in recovery.
Prior managerial experience.
Qualities
The successful candidate must be a good leader, patient and should be willing to take
on all the responsibilities that come with being a centre manager, He must be medically
and physically able to engage and participate in all activities with clients at the centre.
Accounting Officer:
Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Officer is responsible for:
The Accounting Officer at RH performs routine accounting work following prescribed
procedures and applying modern accounting principles and technique to a limited variety of
recording and accounting problems. Detailed instructions on new work assignments are
received from a superior who also advises on the more difficult problems.
REPORTS TO: CEO/PROJECT DIRECTORS or DESIGNATED OFFICER
SUPERVISION GIVEN TO: N/A
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include:
Use of standard office equipment, including accounting machines. Work is subject to
review by periodic audits
of accounts and reviews of records and reports.
Preparation of premium income journals and reports
Preparation of assigned Income reporting
Preparation of Monthly Income and Expense variance analysis
Maintain fixed asset register. Ensure all relevant transactions with respect to fixed
assets are recorded
Assist with preparation of annual fixed asset assessments
Maintain chargeback and intercompany reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly/quarterly reports
Preparation of assigned profit and loss and balance sheet schedules on a monthly and
annual basis
Assist in the preparation of the yearend Financial Statements and accompanying notes
Prepare all regulatory filings and Statutory Fund calculations
Preparation of quarterly and annual returns
Monthly calculation of statutory fund requirement
Documentation of regulatory procedures and processes
Preparation of monthly corporation tax accrual
Calculation and payment of quarterly tax
Assist with Annual Tax return preparation
Maintain liability reserving
Validation of daily receipt processing

Ensuring cashier close off on a rotational basis
Validation of daily payments
Review and posting of accounting updates and journals
Assist with preparation of annual plan/budget
Participation in special projects
Any other assigned tasks
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong Analytical Skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications i.e. Word, Excel
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Minimum of 3- 5 years in an Accounting environment
Level 2 ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
